Sammie won 2 gold medals at a GI tournament (where she borrowed and wore a gi for the first time). A sponsor saw her pics, and bought her a gi. Knowing Styna was an intense rival, he bought Styna one too, and the sponsored gi Extreme Fight was set. Same rules as our usual Extreme Fights (slapping, palm strikes, hairpulling allowed, submissions only), but the gi adds a new challenge. Fighting in a gi is exhausting, as they weigh 3 lbs, hold in the heat and can be frustratingly grabbed and used as weapons. Due to the likelihood of exhaustion, the match was made a best 2 out of 3 falls, or 25 minutes (our usual length). The rivals battle intensely, with a winner gaining 2 submissions, and both ladies hot, sweaty and exhausted at the end of the match. Now that they have both experienced it, the loser wants a rematch, which will happen soon, as the winner gladly agreed. A rough, intense, immensely entertaining match forcing the 2 to adapt and endure until a winner is crowned. A definite match to be had!
