Astrid “the Beast from the East” enters the ring for her second fight to take on veteran Freshfiter Rose. We expected a rough battle of raw power against speed, agility and experience, and that is what we saw. The fight rages back and forth with 4 quick falls at the beginning, as Rose is not intimidated by Astrid’s strength. You can see Astrid evolve as the fight progresses, as she learns how to combine her powerful body with her growing knowledge of MMA submissions, and shows some great technique. One fighter begins to dominate the fight, and relentlessly stalks her opponent over and over. She confessed afterwards she liked that feeling, and cannot wait for more. We cannot wait for more either, as Astrid progresses to another level of fighting quickly.
